It takes scars to build character

Another defeat. After hundreds of hours of practice and thousands time of repetition. But DD did well. He performed wonderfully and did he best. There is no remorse. He got home quietly and brought the big lab out for a walk. I know he need time to lick the wounds and heal. My heart bleeds too.

But I know every challenge in life is another chisel, if we are truly built with solid material,  we eventually become perfect sculptures. Just like whenever I saw myself in front of bathroom mirror, I was reminded David. :)

But the process of transforming from raw marble to astonishing statue is hard. It takes thousands of cut - for the boy and for his father.
